He didn't know for sure, so he didn't give me a ticket, however, my desire to not relive the situation has motivated me to register the trailer in Maryland, pay them their blood money, and remove the issue from my (and the Admiral's most importantly) mind. I explained the circumstances to him, however he was adamant that since there is a hard tag, there must be a registration. The police officer asked for a registration for the trailer. Last trip out, I got pulled over for a light out on the trailer. I live in Maryland, so the boat is registered in my name in MD. Trailer is tagged in Virginia, and the tag say "Permanent Trailer" along with a typical plate number, with no date type, or any kind of stickers. I was a happy first boat owner so I didn't give a poop. He gave me a title for the boat, nothing for the trailer. ![]() I bought the boat and trailer as a bundle from the PO. I'll try to keep this short, I aways fail. Why do you need to identify it? I have a very similar trailer and my tags look like that too.
